Kevin Edwards is originally from Charlotte, NC. Kevin is a 2011 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he majored in International Relations and was also a member of the football and track team.
Upon graduation, Kevin was commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer on a Minesweeper out of San Diego, CA and Manama, Bahrain. Kevin came to the University of Florida Law School through the Navy’s Law Education Program; his current rank in the Navy is an O-3 Lieutenant. Upon graduation and passage of the bar, Kevin will be re-designated as a Judge Advocate General in the Navy.
At UF Law, Kevin is a member of the Black Law Student’s Association, Military Law Students Association, Honor Committee, and John Marshall Bar Association.
The summer after his 1L year, Kevin clerked in the U.S. Federal Courts for the Honorable Roy B. Dalton, Jr. in the Middle District of Florida. Kevin is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
